Purepoint is launching a new range of high performance electric cars in the United States and Europe, with a focus on the “high-performance” segment of the market.
The company says the Purepoint GT is the first in a new family of EVs that can reach a top speed of over 300 mph and can be driven for up to 12 hours, with the power output of the engine being boosted by up to 200 horsepower.
The range of the vehicle is the same as the previous Purepoint G, but the vehicle also has the same size as the GT, making it slightly smaller than the standard GT.
Purepoint says it will have a price tag of $40,000, and that the GT will be available in three models: the PurePoint GT, the Purepoints Turbo and the PurePoints Hybrid.
The GT is a more affordable model with a base price of $39,990, and the Turbo is $50,990 with a range of up to 108 miles, while the Hybrid is $60,990.
Purepoints GT and Turbo are both powered by the same 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-four, but Purepoint does not offer the same powertrain or performance levels as its previous model.
PurePoint also says that the Pure point GT will offer a 20 percent lower price tag than its previous generation, the Hybrid, which was $40k.
